ذكرت هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في تقرير عن بيانات النساء والفتيات في قطاع غزة أن 1.9 مليون من أصل 2.3 مليون شخص في غزة نزحوا من أماكنهم، من بينهم حوالي مليون امرأة وفتاة.
وأشار الهيئة إلى مقتل اثنتين من الأمهات كل ساعة في غزة، فيما فقد نحو 10 آلاف طفل آباءهم في جراء القصف الهمجي والحرب المسعورة المتواصلة منذ 7 أكتوبر 2023.
وفي 4 يناير كشفت الأمم المتحدة أن عدد النازحين الذين وصلوا إلى رفح في جنوب قطاع غزة، بلغ نحو مليون فلسطيني منذ بدء عدوان الاحتلال “الإسرائيلي” على القطاع في السابع من أكتوبر 2023.
